Description
Udawalawe is world-famous for its high population of wild elephants, which live free in the reserve. The park is one of the best places in Asia to witness these gentle giants bathing, feeding, and socializing in herds.

Active during the early mornings and late afternoons, traveling in family herds led by matriarchs.
